Grief, Loss, and Trauma

Grief and loss can touch every part of our lives, whether through the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or other painful changes.

Your pain is valid, no matter its source.

The Weight of Loss and Trauma

Loss is not just about bereavement. We create space to explore the impact of all forms of profound change and painful history.

We provide support for individuals experiencing:

Bereavement: Loss through death, sudden or expected.
Relational Loss: The ending of a marriage, partnership, or significant friendship.
Childhood Trauma & Abuse: Addressing deep emotional wounds linked to past experiences.
Complex Grief: When loss is complicated, delayed, or linked to long-standing patterns of pain.
Displaced Identity: Loss of self after a life-changing event or role shift.

You deserve care during this time

The Path Towards Healing

Moving from processing pain to building resilience
Counselling provides the necessary support when distress can feel overwhelming, especially when it leads to thoughts of self-harm or hopelessness. My role is to offer gentle, non-judgmental support to help you navigate these intense feelings. Working together, our journey focuses on establishing a secure, confidential, and judgment-free space for honest expression. We begin by exploring your story, gently processing the experiences of grief, loss, and trauma entirely at your own pace.
The main goal is to help you make sense of these painful events, allowing for integration rather than suppression. From this foundation, we focus on building resilience, identifying and strengthening your inner resources to cope with current distress and future challenges. Ultimately, we work toward finding hope, reaching a point where the pain is carried, not carrying you, enabling you to move forward with a renewed sense of self.
